Cosecha brings South Nashville together.

Cosecha

/coh-seh-cha/
noun
The Spanish word for “harvest.” Cosecha Community Development is a nonprofit organization that creates community in South Nashville by bringing people together in gardens, a farmers market, and over food. We are an intentionally bilingual and multicultural organization that celebrates the diversity of South Nashville, especially the Hispanic community.

A garden with various plants and flowers, including purple flowers in the foreground, a rocky path, and a butterfly-shaped metal sculpture hanging from a tree. There are benches, garden beds, and a small building in the background, surrounded by lush green trees and a clear blue sky.

School & Community Gardens

Together with our neighbors and local schools, we're nurturing vibrant garden spaces designed to strengthen our community bonds. Our school gardens serve as thriving centers for education, neighborhood gatherings, and access to healthy and locally grown food.

Cosecha Language School

We seek to achieve linguistic justice through the teaching of the main languages spoken in our community. We believe that by facilitating access to learning through languages, we can open our horizons to other cultures. Currently, we offer Spanish and English classes with opportunities for authentic immersive practices.
